The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

 

Is time an issue for you? Go to onlineaha.org and select find a course. Next select BLS for Healthcare Providers. Then select HeartCode BLS.  This portion is $28.50. After you complete this portion, simply schedule an appointment with MSA 48 hours in advance to complete your skills check off for $35.

     *** Must provide copy of expired BLS card and copy of the BLS online certificate of completion (part 1)***

CPR Instructor 

1 Day program / 8 clock hours

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructors teach lifesaving skills. Certified by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association, you work independently to teach the techniques of CPR and other first-aid measures to individuals and groups.

Prior to taking the CPR Instructor course you will need to take a online BLS instructor course. Go to elearning.heart.org and select courses. Next you will click on Instructor training. After you click on instructor training scroll down to the BLS instructor essentials online course. Which will be $30.00 fee

The CPR Instructor course is a non-refundable course.  You can only receive a refund due to inclement weather.
