Medication Aide
This 68-hour medication aide program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing. A medication aide is considered part of the interdisciplinary health care team and assists with the delivery of routine medications under direct supervision. Med aides may work in assisted living facilities and immediate care facilities. Other duties for a medication aide may include documentation of medications and monitoring the therapeutic effects of medications delivered, as well as assisting in the care of residents in these facilities.

Day Class (2 Weeks)
Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Evening Class (4 Weeks)
5:00pm-9:30 pm Monday-Thursday

Entrance Requirements

Completion of a nurse aide/direct care staff program

U.S. citizenship​

Clear background check

Completion of a current PPD (TB test) before the 1st day of clinical(provide paperwork with date)​

Tuition
$500.00
includes class tuition, non-refundable enrollment fee, class uniform, textbook, and badge.
***State competency fee of $120.00 and CPR fee of $60 is not included in tuition cost.***
